What you get
We check which FLR route actually applies to you, confirm the date your leave ends, and prepare the application and the evidence that goes with it — so you know where you stand before anything is submitted.
FLR(M), FLR(FP), FLR(HRO), private life or a human rights application — which one fits your circumstances, and what it will require.
When your current leave ends, and the right moment to apply given that date. On an extension the timing matters as much as the content.
Relationship, parental and private-life evidence checked against what the route requires. What was accepted last time is not automatically enough.
Where an application has been refused, rejected or found invalid, we advise on what is open to you and act on it.
Where extensions go wrong
Different requirements, different fees and different settlement timelines.
Applying after your leave expires changes your position significantly.
What was accepted for your first grant may not carry the extension.
A rejected application can leave you without valid leave while the clock runs.
Simple process
We establish what leave you hold and exactly when it ends.
Which FLR route applies, and what it will require of you.
The application and the document bundle are prepared in full.
We submit and handle all Home Office correspondence from there.

Questions
They are different application forms for different routes. FLR(M) is used to extend leave on the family route as a partner or parent under the main Immigration Rules. FLR(FP) is used where the application rests on family or private life grounds that fall outside those main requirements.
The distinction matters well beyond which form you fill in: the two carry different requirements, different Home Office fees and different routes to settlement.
Your position is materially different depending on whether an application is made before or after your leave ends, and what follows depends on the facts of your case — when your leave ended, why, and what route you are applying on.
This is not something to work out from a web page. If your leave has expired, or is about to, speak to a solicitor about your dates before you submit anything.
There is a fee waiver process for certain human rights-based applications, for applicants who can evidence that they cannot afford the fee. It is a separate application that is normally decided before the leave application itself, which affects your timing as well as your costs.
Processing times are set by the Home Office, vary by route and by whether a priority service is used, and they change. We will tell you the current published timescale for your route at the point you instruct us, rather than publish one here that may since have moved.
It can, but not every route reaches settlement over the same period, and time spent on one route does not always carry across to another. Because the route you extend on now shapes how long settlement takes, this is worth checking before the extension is made rather than at the end.
That depends on the conditions attached to the leave you held, and on whether a valid application was made in time. The conditions of your previous grant are usually the starting point, but they are not the whole answer. Getting this wrong can affect both your employment and a later application, so check your specific position before you rely on it.
The refusal notice sets out the reasons, and those reasons decide what is open to you: a fresh application, an administrative review, or an appeal where a right of appeal exists. Each has its own deadline, and some are short.
A refusal also has to be declared on future applications, so it is worth taking advice on the next step rather than reapplying straight away.
